Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Rising Impact — and What’s Ahead in 2025
As we step into a new year, we’re looking back with immense pride at everything the Rising Stars Committee accomplished in 2024 — and looking forward to all that’s ahead.
Together with our vibrant community of supporters, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised $25,000 for Make-A-Wish® Canada. These funds help grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses — and every event, every donation, and every shared moment helped bring us closer to that mission.
✨ A Look Back at 2024
Here are just a few highlights from our biggest and brightest moments of the year:
🌈 Sparkle & Spin (May) – We kicked things off with a Pride Month spin class full of energy, sweat, and celebration. This event set the tone for a year rooted in love, inclusivity, and purpose.
🥊 Rumble Boxing (July) – We packed a punch at our summer fitness fundraiser, where our community came together for a high-intensity workout and serious good vibes.
🌴 Tropical Nights Gala (September) – Our biggest event of the year brought the heat with samba dancers, stunning decor, amazing raffle prizes, and a moving story from Make-A-Wish that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

We’re just getting started.
This year, we’re bringing back some of your favourite events — and adding a few new ones to the mix. Here's what's in store:
Fitness Fundraisers – Our signature sweat-for-a-cause events are returning to help raise both funds and spirits.
Annual Gala – Stay tuned for a fresh new take on our biggest night of the year.
Constantine Yorkville Run – For the first time ever, we’ll be lacing up and running as a team to support Make-A-Wish through this community-driven 5K.
Summer Community Events – We’re planning new ways to connect, give back, and engage locally during the warmer months.
We’re excited to be led by Maria Arce (Chair) and Carina Remi (Co-Chair) in 2025 — two leaders passionate about creating joyful, impactful experiences and growing the Rising Stars community.
